Hello, Summer!

Think that as a winter sports destination St. Anton has nothing to offer in summer? Think again. The region is actually at its best in summer. That is when narrow hiking trails branching out in all directions lead up to secluded mountain peaks and the most scenic resting places. On forest trails, young and old cycle into Verwall Valley, coming upon cows on their summer retreat and being rewarded with traditional treats at Konstanzerhütte Lodge. And those who need a break from all the mountain biking, e-biking, mountaineering and mountains can soak up the sun by the swimming pool. The very adventurous can also take a dip into one of the numerous small mountain lakes.

In summer, St. Anton becomes a village again: That is when you meet the locals going for a walk, at the lodges and in the gondolas heading for Galzig. Everything happens at a slower pace than in winter – no wonder as you have to get up extra early to catch the best powder snow! – and this is the opportunity to truly immerse yourself into Tyrolean traditions: At the village fair, the tent festival or the open-air concerts featuring local bands, guests in traditional customs or without are welcome. Yet St. Anton remains cosmopolitan – and combines Vinyasa-Flow and mountain scenery at the annual Mountain Yoga Festival.
